I'm Dara.......
I fell in love with photography while in high school. I was on the yearbook staff and we were in charge of designing our school yearbook. And that is all it took and I was hooked, I knew what I wanted to do with my life. Then I headed off to college and majored in Photojournalism and minor in Psychology.
I met my husband Andrew in 2010 and we began dating. Then 2 years later we were married. I knew that I wanted to start my photography business but I had moved to a new town. Let's just say it was scary not knowing a single person. So I slowly starting photographing everything and everyone.
Today I specialize in high school seniors, teens, and families. Those are my absolute favorite to photograph. I also do newborns, events, engagements, and weddings. I absolutely love what I do. God has blessed me more then words can say. I am so thankful for his guidance and his grace. Because with out him I would be LOST!
I want to make everyone I photograph feel beautiful inside and out. I have a fun and up beat personality and I want people to have an amazing experience. One of my goals as a high school senior and teen photographer is to bring out confidence in every single one of them. There is no greater joy then when a mother tells me how much more confidence their child has after a session. That is the best part of my job. Seeing all the smiling faces and knowing I was the reason for it. Being truly happy is all what its about.
I love to travel and look for new locations to make your session one of a kind. I can't wait to talk to you and start working on capturing all your memories. :)
